Executive Management Team
Jack Hounsom is a highly accomplished entrepreneur, investor, and visionary leader with a proven track record in the financial services, real estate, and alternative asset management sectors. As the founder and CEO of Anchorstone Capital Management, Jack has successfully built a dynamic FinTech firm, positioning the company at the forefront of investment innovation, strategic partnerships, and high-level capital raising efforts.
Leveraging a foundation built at JP Morgan and years of entrepreneurial experience, Jack has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead ventures across multiple industries, including hedge fund management, real estate development, and emerging technology. His keen strategic mindset, paired with a robust engineering background, allows him to swiftly adapt and thrive in diverse sectors, from asset management to sustainable energy development.
At Anchorstone, Jack conceptualized and launched the company, establishing a vision that has driven substantial growth, including the creation of several fund vehicles ranging in size from £100MM to £10BB. Through his leadership, Anchorstone has established key global subsidiaries, and has forged successful partnerships with prominent firms.
Jack’s entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond Anchorstone. He co-founded Realico, a hybrid real estate and public market fund that integrates blockchain technology to democratize access to prime real estate investments. Under his leadership, Realico aspires to execute several portfolios and in the process of achieving backing from several family offices.
In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Jack has held several influential and board-level roles, making notable contributions to the real estate and energy sector, serving as the Chief Financial Officer of UK Energy Infrastructure Limited, where he has been instrumental in structuring finance models for sustainable energy projects and attracting private capital for brownfield regeneration projects.
Jack is also deeply committed to social impact, serving as Trustee of several charities and endowments where he has significantly improved fundraising initiatives, secured critical grants, and implemented strategic financial management processes.
Group Chief Investment Officer
Scott Barton is an experienced investor with a unique track record of success in both buy and sell side roles. Scott has developed a unique blend of knowledge in portfolio management and trading, shaped over his 15 years of experience in the financial markets.
Scott began his trading career at BTIG, where he quickly leveraged his relationships to move into an independent equity sales role. He spend the next 12 years as the sole trader to a family office and hedge fund, where he focused was on portfolio management, position sizing, and timing and execution of trades. Beginning in 2014, Scott began to find a niche in the healthcare space, specifically in biotech and gene therapy.
Alongside multiple funds, Scott began investing in healthcare companies with a focus on cancer and genetic disorders. The companies were a mix of public and private companies, with a goal to going public. Scott was instrumental in the founding of Avexis, a stem cell bank where he brought together four investors. Avexis was changed into a gene therapy company that was sold 5 years later to Novartis for $8.7B. Finding investment opportunities, managing them within a portfolio, and trading their public shares, became Scott’s passion.
Scott launched Gatsby, a luxury sportswear clothing company, in 2020 where he combined his love for golf and luxury clothing. His passion for great people, a great team, and a unique competitive advantage, is what attracted Scott to Anchorstone, and remains the core focus of his business career.
Portfolio and Fund Management
Alex is a seasoned financial professional with an impressive track record spanning over three decades in the financial markets. He holds an FCA regulation as a portfolio manager and has amassed a wealth of experience through his distinguished career.
With a solid foundation in investment banking acquired during his tenure at SG Warburgs and Lehman Brothers in both London and New York, Alex has honed his skills across diverse financial landscapes. Notably, he has contributed his expertise to the field of Asset Management at Aviva Global Investors in both Boston and London. However, it is in the realm of hedge fund management where Alex truly excels, boasting decades of experience navigating the complexities of the markets.
In addition to his portfolio management prowess, Alex has successfully established his own hedge fund vehicle in the past. Alex is the lead hedge fund manager for Anchorstone’s IP-showcase fund, ACM EF I, in which he seeks to apply his previous expertise and system management to illustrate superior portfolio selection.
Throughout his extensive career journey, Alex has also cultivated expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Compliance, and Market Manipulation. As a result, he assumes a pivotal role overseeing compliance and acting as a Risk Manager, ensuring that the highest standards of regulatory adherence and risk management are maintained within his purview. Alex's multifaceted experience positions him as a trusted and accomplished leader in the financial industry.
Lee is a seasoned professional known for his dynamic and results-oriented approach. With a proven track record of implementing development initiatives that consistently delight clients, safeguard brand reputation, bring development visions to life, and resonate with diverse audiences, he stands out in the industry.
Lee's most notable achievements in recent years revolve around his expertise in driving company growth, particularly within the new energy development sector. He has successfully secured substantial energy deals and launched various real estate and energy funds, contributing significantly to the expansion and success of his organisations.

Harry brings to the table an extensive career spanning more than three decades, with a notable emphasis on his significant management experience. With over 35 years of expertise in the Engineering and Management professions, he has made valuable contributions in both the Private and Public sectors. Impressively, Harry has spent a quarter-century in various Senior Management roles across the United Kingdom, showcasing his exceptional leadership skills and ability to drive organisational success.
Furthermore, Harry possesses a profound understanding of corporate governance within both the Private and Public sectors, a knowledge base that has been cultivated over two decades of dedicated service in various Public and Private Sector Organisations. His wealth of experience and expertise in management and governance make him a highly regarded professional with a track record of achieving results and advancing organisations toward excellence.

Ford Anderson is a seasoned capital markets and private equity professional with a wealth of experience in financial advisory, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships. As Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Anchorstone, Ford leverages his extensive background in asset management, operational excellence, and business development to drive long-term profitability and sustainable growth for the firm.
With an MBA and a robust track record spanning over a decade, Ford has developed a deep expertise in cultivating relationships with institutional investors, including pension funds, family offices, and endowments. His ability to lead complex projects and orchestrate strategic partnerships has positioned him as a key player in alternative asset management.
Before joining Anchorstone, Ford served as the Chief Operations Officer at 57 West Capital Markets Inc. in Austin, TX, where he successfully navigated a series of high-impact initiatives. His leadership was instrumental in raising millions of dollars in capital. Ford played a crucial role in the firm's expansion, overseeing the restructuring of a $72 million real estate development deal, securing banking partnerships for private credit transactions, and diversifying the private equity portfolio into new sectors such as international food logistics and financial services. His work with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds has solidified his reputation as a trusted advisor and dealmaker.
In addition to his role at 57 West, Ford has provided consulting expertise to several prominent projects, including a significant solar initiative at South Texas Renewables and a $35 million gas pipeline development project with Texas Hill Country Energy Company. His ability to analyze financial structures and design sustainable, profitable solutions has consistently driven project success.
Dr Paul Glance

Paul holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and has a strong academic foundation in both engineering and computer science. He also holds two master’s degrees, one in Automotive Engineering from the Chrysler Institute and another in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, with post-graduate work at the University of Toledo and NASA.
Amenyo Setordzie
Non-executive Advisor
Amenyo Setordzie is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in corporate finance, deal structuring, capital raising, risk management, and private sector development across Africa. A Chartered Accountant, he holds an MBA in Finance and a BSc in Administration (Finance & Banking) from the University of Ghana.
Currently, he serves as Principal Consultant at Gladmen Consulting, advising corporations and state institutions on financial strategy, business advisory, and investment readiness. He has led large-scale financial modelling, strategic planning, and capital mobilization projects for governments, multinationals, and SMEs.
Previously, Amenyo held senior roles at Ernst & Young, AMSCO, and multiple financial institutions, including Managing Director positions. He has overseen multi-million-dollar transactions, advised on infrastructure financing, and spearheaded private sector development initiatives backed by institutions such as the IFC, AfDB, and Norfund. With a track record in capital markets, due diligence, and financial restructuring, Amenyo brings a wealth of expertise in scaling businesses and driving investment success.
